How to Install a Wildcard SSL Certificate on Internet Information Services Manager (IIS):


1. Open IIS Manager (Internet Information Services Manager) from windows Search.

2. On the connections pane - Select the drop down on the respective server

3. Select "Server Certificates

4. Select "Open Feature" located on the extreme right of the IIS Manager interface.

5. Select "Complete Certificate Request" on the "Actions" pane located on the extreme right of the IIS interface

6. Browse to the Certificate Location and select appropriate SSL Wildcard Certificate:


The IIS Wildcard Bindings Process:


1. Select the drop down icon on the desired server.

3. Select the drop down on the Sites Folder.

4. Select the "OlationWebService" Connection: 

5. Navigate to the "Actions" pane on the extreme right of the IIS Manager window and Select "Bindings":

6. In the Bindings pop up dialog, select "Add"

7. You will now be required to configure the Site Bindings, use the below screenshot as a guide:

8. Select the "Type" drop down and select "https"

9. Choose the SSL Certificate we have used in the previous step by clicking the drop down and select OK to confirm configuration. 


NOTE - The Port 443 is the default port used for https and will be automatically selected, you can specify a different port based on your environment.
